President's Message
(May 10, 2009)
Sunnyvale Southern Mothers:
A very Happy Mother's Day to all Sunnyvale Southern mothers and a thanks for all you do for
Sunnyvale Southern, managers and coaches, and especially the players.
I hope years from now your sons and daughters give you a little more respect than Leo Durocher
gave his mother.
Leo Durocher who once said:
"If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going
to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry Mom, but nobody beats me'."
I would have let my mother score.
Happy Mother's Day.
