President's
Message (12/9/11)
Dear Sunnyvale Players, Families, and Friends,
I hope that you all had wonderful Thanksgiving celebrations and look forward to more holiday celebrations into the New Year! Baseball will be here soon --the field grass is growing, bargains for equipment are available, plans are being set for the next coming months. And our banners are up, and flyers are going around because REGISTRATION for the 2012 spring season is OPEN! I encourage you to sign up for our early registration fees ($15 discount) as the Registration section on our website will explain. Also, the weather has delayed us, but there will be notices through the winter for practices at the batting cages and at different facilities in the area. Winter break and the preseason months are great times to participate in winter clinics that are being held by area training facilities and to cross train. We are making great plans with baseball to help us all grow in the ideals of sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, teamwork, commitment, life principles, and respect for authority in a fun and friendly community-based program. The full blast fun of baseball is coming!
