SSLL FAMILIES
Humphrey Bogart once said, "A hot dog at the ball park is better than steak at the Ritz".
Well, the Ritz is out, winter is here, the New Year is upon us, spring is a few months away,
but it is time to get ready for Little League Baseball and hot dogs at the park.
REGISTRATION
Please take advantage of the ONLINE registration. No paper forms to fill out. Simply follow the links
above or on the registration page to on-line registration.
(Note: If you are new to the league, you will still need to provide proof of age and
residency at either a walk-in registration or at evaluations.) Sign-up by January 9th for
a $10 discount per player.
In case you don't want to use the online registration,
you can come to one of the
walk-in registration dates. Be sure to print and fill out the Registration Form
ahead of time. Note that birth certificates and proof of residency are required for registration. You must
provide these in person at walk-in registration or evaluations or mail them to SSLL even if you register on-line.
Walk-in Registration will be held at the De Anza Park Rec Building on:
- Sat. January 9, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
- Sat. January 16, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
EVALUATIONS
Farm, Minor and Major Evaluations will be held
Sunday, February 7th and Saturday, February 13th.
All Farm, Minor and Major candidates
must attend AT LEAST one evaluation day to be considered for the draft.
Per Little League International rules, all 12-year-olds will be placed on a Majors team
unless a waiver is completed and signed by the parents, Board and District Administrator.
EVALUATION DATES
Players registering for Farm or above must attend at least one:
- Sunday, February 7th at Sunnyvale Middle School softball diamond
- Saturday, February 13th at Sunnyvale Middle School softball diamond
- Specific times for various levels and age groups will be available on the web site.

VOLUNTEERS
As I'm sure you know, Little League is a volunteer-driven organization.
We have a number of openings on the Board this year and could really use your help.
We are looking to fill at least the following positions:
- Tournament Directors
- Jr./Sr. Baseball Director
- Snack Shack Coordinator

We'll find the perfect spot for you. Sharing board positions and duties is welcomed.
