8U Team Battles to the End!

05/26/2015, 11:30pm EDT
By SSLL

Congratulations to the 8U Tournament Team who competed this weekend in the Briarwood Memorial Weekend Tournament in Santa Clara. We are so proud of our players and coaches!

The team played some very impressive baseball this weekend with last game coming right down to the end.  The team played all 3 days of the tournament, finishing 4th this morning to Homestead.

A huge thanks to Manager, Eric Gray, and the coaches, Linden Chang, Tom Daron, Nolan Duong, Tony Limon, and Mark Steigerwald for all of their time, energy, and heart given this weekend!

It truly was a team effort all the way around.

Congratulations 8U Team!

Opening Day 2015

03/14/2015, 3:30pm EDT
By SSLL

The season kicked off with a bite!

Thank you, everyone, for making Opening Day so much fun!

It was great to see all of our SSLL families enjoying themselves during the event. We noticed so many families enjoying the food trucks and tons of kids running around with their balloon creations with the biggest smiles. We hope the younger players were able to partake in the clinics, and that everyone else enjoyed watching the first Minor and Major division games of the season.

If Opening Day was an example of how the season will go, we just know it is going to be a fantastic one!

Let's play some ball!

If you have any pictures of Opening Day that you would like to share, please send them to Dawnmarie Steichen.
