Player evaluations are just a few weeks away, so you don't want to miss out on these awesome opportunities!
Sunnyvale Southern Little League is made up strictly of volunteers. Our children enjoy one of the finest sports organizations around, thanks to the many people who contribute their time and talents during the season. We are always in need of team managers and coaches. Without these key volunteer positions we would not be able to form teams for all of the kids who want to play baseball.
Want to help but you have never run a baseball team before?
SSLL offers trainings and clinics for new managers and coaches who are interested in helping but do not have the experience.
Please consider volunteering your time during the Spring 2016 season by managing your own team or helping managers who need additional coaches. Contact SSLL league President, Jean Roberts at SSLLprez@gmail.com for more information.
Just as a reminder, all volunteers must fill out a Volunteer Application. Volunteer positions include, but are not limited to:
Volunteer Applications should be submitted to Safety Officer, Greg Steichen, for approval. Approval can take up to two weeks, so please allow time for processing.
If you have any questions, you can contact Greg directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We know everyone can't be a manager or coach on the field, but your managers and coaches will need your help! We need parents to help keep score at the Farm, Minors, and Majors games.
Please click here to watch these training videos and learn how to help with these very important jobs.
Because the Team Managers and Coaches are busy warming up the players, they need parent volunteers to prep the fields before and after the games.
Click here to watch a video on Field Prep and let your Team Managers or Admin know which game days you can help out.
Thank you for your help!
Consider joining the SSLL Board of Directors and help make Sunnyvale Southern a fun community sport for the kids in our neighborhood.
